On November 1st, the Dutch government launched the “Shaping Feminist Foreign Policy Conference 2023”, vowing to centre “equal rights and equality for all worldwide” in the policy.
Activists & human rights defenders, including SFJN Co-Founder @rulaasad, protested pinkwashing, condemning the Netherlands’ abstention from voting on a UN resolution calling for a humanitarian cease-fire, which contributed to ongoing fatalities in Palestine.
Demonstrators called for an immediate ceasefire to stop the genocide and to end the occupation. Their plea was clear: No Feminist Foreign Policy without addressing Palestine.
