We are a group of Syrian Feminist Organisations that have come together to establish an online platform dedicated to advancing feminist knowledge on a broader scale. Our primary objective is to spotlight the Syrian feminist movement and the status of women, articulating their hopes and aspirations for a just future that upholds human rights universally and women’s rights specifically.
Our Vision
A democratic, inclusive society grounded in the principles of equal citizenship and rights. Women hold prominent leadership roles across all dimensions of life, be it in politics, economics, or culture. We aspire to cultivate a society that instills a culture of zero tolerance toward violence against women and girls. Through our endeavors, we seek to empower individuals, break down barriers, and pave the way for a future where gender equality is not just an idea but a lived reality for all.
Our Mission
The feminist Syrian platform is committed to establishing a distinguished archive/library of feminist and women’s rights knowledge. We are dedicated to the collection, publication, and generation of comprehensive knowledge encompassing feminist movements and perspectives on various subjects. Additionally, our mission involves constructing an informed bridge that transcends geographical boundaries, fostering closer collaboration among women, feminist organisations, and individuals.

Our Goals
- Enhance and disseminate feminist knowledge.
- Promote the values of human rights and gender equality.
- Encourage feminists and women’s rights defenders to contribute to building local feminist knowledge.
- Incorporate the voices of marginalised groups and small initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive resources for researchers interested in the Syrian feminist movement.
- Foster networking among advocates for human rights in general and women’s rights in particular at the national, regional, and international levels.
Membership Criteria
- Acceptance of membership from any Syrian organisation or initiative that includes, in its principles and goals, the pursuit of women’s rights, empowerment, combatting violence against women and girls, and increasing their participation in all fields.
- Agreement with the platform’s bylaws, vision, values, and goals, subject to approval by the board of directors.
- Each organisation or initiative will have a dedicated section within the platform where their events and publications can be shared.
