Who we are:
Founded in 2013 in the city of Reyhanlı, Turkey, by Syrian women pioneers in community work, the civil society organisation, “Rafqa” Humanitarian Association, operates actively. Concentrating on women and children’s affairs, the association maintains a voluntary field team that conducts activities and offers training to Syrian women, enhancing their professional and intellectual capabilities. “Rafqa” has orchestrated various workshops and meetings aimed at empowering Syrian women intellectually and professionally. Additionally, it engages in humanitarian efforts and providing assistance.
What we do:
Empowering the community intellectually and economically, and supporting the issues of marginalised groups, through studying their needs, building solutions, and promoting equality among all members of society.
