In the early stages of contemplating feminism and its concept, numerous ideas arose that highlighted discriminatory issues against women within the framework of the family. Some solutions were possibly radical, such as suggesting “let’s dispense with the family altogether.” However, today, the trend has shifted towards deconstructing the traditional concept of the family and rebuilding it in a manner that aligns with the notion that this isn’t the exclusive form of a family. In practice, the family is a humane and emotional concept, and evidence lies in the fact that many individuals consider friends as integral to the family, or even as part of the family itself. Neighbours, coworkers, and even pets fall within this expanded family!
